The Cookies Kush weed strain is an Indica dominant strain created by Barney’s Coffeeshop. They created this by crossing two legendary strains: GSC with the Rolex phenotype of OG Kush. The result? An Indica strain that won 1st place in the High Times’ 2014 Amsterdam Cannabis Cup in the “Best Coffeeshop Strain” category. The good folks at Bubba Kings have given this strain the royal treatment in creating this one. Its aroma is irresistible! This one will leave a lashing impression on you if you haven’t tried this already.
Effects
The Cookie Kush weed high can be a bit interesting to some as it brings together two opposing sensations that build and build as the high continues. Despite being an Indica dominant strain, you really do feel effects on both ends. In the initial rush, you’ll feel immediate sedation that leaves you a bit lethargic but very relaxed and happy. While you are settling into this phase you’ll feel your head getting light and energetic. This makes for an interesting high indeed. Despite these two competing effects, you’ll be very relaxed and at ease yet still energized enough to function if need be. Therefore, KS recommends this for nighttime use.

Medically speaking, you can find a lot of uses for Cookies Kush. Beyond it being powerfully sedative, it is also a mood booster which makes it great for anyone suffering from chronic stress, depression, or bipolar. This is my favorite ‘Dam strain (Barney’s Uptown whatup whatup!) and this grow doesn’t disappoint! Incredible taste, incredible smell, incredible potency. The taste of this makes your regular stuff un-smokeable. Priced like other high end quads on KS, this is one I would reach for more often than others in that range. Not for daytime for almost everyone, very potent!
